If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that eating healthy doesn’t have to mean eating boring. My daily meals are a testament to the fact that we can achieve flavor, satisfaction, and nourishment all in one plate. The best part, is there is no feeling of restriction or crazed dieting.

That’s why I’m starting this new food series on Health as a Whole! I am seeking to share the macro-friendly, protein-packed, low-sugar, lower-calorie meals I actually eat on repeat (and am completely obsessed with!). My idea to share these meals originated with my friends asking for the recipes that my mom and I cook up in our house, and instead of just gatekeeping my secrets to my inner circle, I decided to share it with the entire Health As A Whole community. My go to meals help keep me fueled, satisfied (which I honestly never though possible considering my appetite lol), and energized (+they taste really good!!)

For me, food is about balance: fueling my body, supporting my workouts, and still loving every single bite. It’s not about “good” or “bad” foods, at the end of the day our health is about how we feel both mentally and physically and I just want to feel great, both inside and out.

We’re kicking things off with my Morning Musts! Morning Musts are my breakfasts and brunch recipes that are easy (&quick) to make, nutrient-dense, and protein-packed recipes to prepare you for your day!

First post of the series is dropping later today, so stay on the look out.

Can't wait to share these delicious recipes with you all!

Your Favorite Foodie,

Dina Shirazi
