Dr. Anoosha Ghodsi‑Shirazi, MD, is a highly experienced, board‑certified Obstetrician‑Gynecologist based in San Diego, CA. With nearly three decades of clinical practice, she brings deep expertise in women’s health, obstetric and gynecologic care, laparoscopic surgery, and maternal wellness.

Dr. Reza Shirazi, MD, EE, FACRO, is a distinguished radiation oncologist based in San Diego, highly regarded for his expertise in advanced, precision radiotherapy techniques. With a robust foundation in engineering and applied physiology, complemented by over two decades of clinical and research experience, Dr. Shirazi combines scientific rigor with compassionate care. He is consistently recognized among the region’s Top Doctors and holds key leadership roles in cancer advocacy and academic medicine.

Field of Specality

Dr. Shirazi excels in advanced radiation therapy modalities, with particular sub‑specialties including:

  • CyberKnife® stereotactic radiosurgery for precision targeting of tumors 

  • Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) 

  • Treatment of prostate, breast, pancreas, gastrointestinal, and brain tumors 

  • Use of SpaceOAR hydrogel to protect normal tissue in prostate cancer therapy 

Research

Authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles, focusing on prostate cancer SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy), HDR-like regimens, CyberKnife applications, and treatment toxicity outcomes

Presented multiple abstracts and posters at national scientific meetings, including ASTRO and RSNA conferences, particularly on CyberKnife therapy for pancreatic and prostate cancer

Conducted clinical research trials, such as CyberKnife radiosurgery for prostate cancer and SBRT re-treatment of recurrent disease
